Big Scrub Landcare has launched the Saving our Rainforests from Fire project. This project is helping to fund urgent post-fire scientific research and assessment of the impact of recent bushfires on rainforest in northeast NSW led by Dr Rob Kooyman and colleagues. The outcomes of this assessment will inform appropriate post-fire response guidelines to improve the long-term management, protection and resilience of rainforests and their significant biodiversity.
Dr Rob Kooyman is presenting at the Federal Hall 7 pm Wednesday March 4th.
You can donate to this project to help secure the precious rainforests of northeast NSW from fire. For more information head to or read more and donate visit https://www.bigscrubrainforest.org/programs/saving-our-rainforests-from-fire/
